A culture of collaboration
We are a team of independent musicians, artists, composers and technologist who share a passion for creating art, in it’s broadest sense, to enrich the lives of the people in the communities that we serve.
We love to create original works of music and art that people can relate to and who enjoy the sensation of feeling immersed in a story with complementary imagery and musical sounds.
We promote active involvement in the arts from simple activity sessions with schoolchildren to encouraging youngsters to pick up and learn a musical instrument.
We have close links with the world of brass bands and have seen first hand how this helps develop a spirit of team cooperation, good mental health and increased academic ability in mathematics and language skills.
Why not talk to us about how to get started !

Musician, Digital Artist, Technologist
Art Immersif Founder
Dr Steve Harrington
I have been immersed in brass band music all my life and have thoroughly enjoyed playing the cornet for over 50 years ! With a background as a technologist, an executive in the aerospace industry and a Master’s degree in Music Performance, I have developed a love and passion for creating original cultural and musical immersive exhibitions.
I very much appreciate collaborating with my artistic partners to bring a story to life that is meaningful to the local community that may also act as an inspiration to our younger audience members.
composer, musician and lecturer in composition of Salford University
Musician
Dr Dan Price
I took a keen interest in music from an early age playing tuba and trombone with my local brass band. Following my studies in composition at Salford University, I have written numerous pieces for the brass band genre at all levels of performance including for many of the UK’s top bands such as Cory and Black Dyke.
I am currently a lecturer in composition at Salford University and continue to produce original and arranged works extensively for brass bands with a focus on discovering new audiences through innovation in presentation, sound and performance.

Painter, Illustrator, Writer
Artist
Sarah Borg
I have been a professional painter for 35 years: my art is a record and representation of my life put down on paper and canvas. I have exhibited internationally from the Barbican Gallery and Balustrades in the UK, to the Waterhouse Gallery in California, to numerous exhibitions in Sweden.
I thoroughly enjoy artistic project collaborations, most recently : ‘Intoxicated Angels’ with Steve Harrington and ‘We are the Ocean’, with Captain Paul Watson, the founder of Sea Shepherd – they’re so much fun The use of ‘time-lapse’ photography was a new experience, but one I would definitely like to repeat !
Brass Band
Amersham Band
The Amersham Band is a Championship level band and is currently one of the most successful brass bands in the south of the UK under the musical direction of Paul Fisher.
In 2020, the band was promoted to the Championship Section of the National Brass Band Championships, where it competes alongside some of the finest bands in the country. Our thanks go to Paul, Will Watson and Mike Sheppard for their help in recording the band audio and video accompaniment.

Brass Band
Cuivres en Charente
The association “Cuivres en Charente” was created in December 1999 and in January 2010, the Brass Band de Charente was formed by its conductor, Francis Chiché. This band is part of and managed by the association. The Brass Band is the only orchestral group in Charente to offer this concept of sharing a musical adventure between professionals and amateurs, where all the musicians are volunteers. The Brass Band’s mission is simple: to develop amateur brass music practice and to manage educational projects promoting brass music individually and as a group.
The association works very closely with the “Ecole Departementale de Musique de la Charente” (EDM) and its pupils to: give them the opportunity to play with the best brass players in Charente and be inspired by and take part in exceptional projects.
