Your story, our creation
Do you have an interesting story to tell ? Is there an intriguing tale that you would like to share via a creative Art Immersif project?
We have been asked to help in a number of different ways :
“we would love to show the people we work with and their families more about our great product, which is more a way of life to us”
“we would love to add further energy and stimulus during a visit to our historical monument”
“we would love to engage children and younger audiences in an environmental awareness project within our main library that teachers and children can use as an inspiring resource”
Our exhibitions are specifically created to tell an interesting story. Most stories are special and unique and that’s where our small team of independent artists, composers, project creators, musicians and digital artists come together to create your special immersive exhibition.
We do not try to be a mass-art production house, we take the time to tell your story !
We work closely with you on the practicalities of your installation taking into account the size of exhibition space, which walls you’d like to project on to, projector types and mounting tips and desired viewing positions.
The duration of the exhibition is an important consideration. We can accommodate a range of time periods from a few days to a permanent installation. We try to be flexible in terms of meeting your budget considerations.
The genre of music is a fun discussion in the telling of your story ! We’ve all seen the films with happy, scary and exciting music and how that affects the feelings being experienced. A brass band is a very flexible musical ensemble and is equally at home with baroque and modern classical music to swing and jazz arrangements, not forgetting rock and popular songs ! We will work closely to accommodate a desired musical direction.
Exhibitions that come under the umbrella of ‘Immersive Art’ can take many shapes and the majority have all been well-received by a hungry public for visual and aural stimulus in an accessible way.
Why Art Immersif ?
‘Art Immersif’ – how are we different ? At Art Immersif we approach our exhibitions through creating more intimate experiences that have a local context and an interesting story to tell. We put the music and art on equal footing so that each enhances and complements the appreciation of both art forms.
‘Sound and Light’ shows, like to tell a story with projected images on to an interesting backdrop, for example that of a church or chateau. Some of these events have accompanying speech, even real actors, and occasionally accompanying music.
‘Culturespaces’ is an amazing company that specializes in amazing, large-scale projected art installations with carefully selected accompanying music. One cannot but be ‘wowed’ by the enormity of these exhibitions such as at the ‘Bassins de Lumière’ at Bordeaux or the ‘Ateliers de Lumières’ at Paris. They are an inspiration to many lovers of cultural exhibitions.
We like to tell a story through ‘musical imagery’ and pictures that ‘speak to you’. Our works are original and created through simultaneous collaboration. We love to support both modern artists, composers and musicians with the added aim of attracting younger generations.
We truly understand the benefits of encouraging children to pick up and learn a musical instrument and especially those used in a brass band !
